Wayne Rooney calls for avoiding red cards in Dean Henderson's FA Cup final against Manchester City.
The Crystal Palace goalkeeper touched the ball outside the free throw area with his hands, and Erling Haaland rushed towards the ball and the goal.
Referee Stuart Attwell and subsequent Jarred Gillett after a long check concluded that it was not a chance to score a goal (GSO), sparking anger at the studio at Wembley Stadium.
VAR concluded that “Hyland’s direction makes this a possible but not obvious goal opportunity (GSO).
But Rooney, who worked as an expert on the BBC, responded angryly in the half: “It’s a 100% red card, how could they get it wrong?
"Just get rid of Var. It's trash. They made a mistake and now they're trying to cover it up. It's a red card and everyone can see it's a red card.

While Crystal Palace legend Ian Wright also accepted the decision was wrong: “They could say it wasn’t a chance to score, but it was absolutely sad, it was crazy, he would pound and take it into his target.
"It's all trash, he'll bump into him, rules? Confuses us, this should be dispatched."
Former Manchester City defender Joleon Lescott described it as "one of the worst decisions I've ever seen in football", admits Roy Keane: "We're all confused."
Ally McCoist is confused by ITV's comments, claiming that at Henderson's point of contact is actually a chance to score goals

"That must be a chance to score. Let him call. I know what he is talking about," McCoaster said.
Although Alan Shearer agrees that it is not a goal opportunity and said on the BBC report: "There is no doubt that Dean Henderson touched this with his hands. For me, Erling Haaland has clearly left the target.
Henderson has been on the court and continues to save Omar Marmoush’s penalty before bounced off from Haaland, keeping the palace in front after Eberechi Eze hits the opener.

The first half of the event-packed first half also sparked debate around the controversial fine, and the results showed that Tyrick Mitchell managed to get the touch before reaching out to Bernardo Silva.
