Hub International snaps up loyal global partners

Hub International, a global insurance brokerage and financial services company, has acquired the assets of Allegiant Global Partners (AGP), a consulting firm in Boston, Massachusetts, USA.

The financial terms of the transaction have not been disclosed.

AGP provides health, welfare and risk advisory services to international non-governmental organizations (NGOs), higher education institutions and domestic non-profit organizations.

AGP's expertise in the nonprofit and education sectors is expected to complement and enhance Hub International's professional and global welfare capabilities.

The team from AGP, including founder and CEO Jay Bride and president and chief client Denis Guay, will be included in the hub’s national employee benefits and operations of the New England hub.

"The AGP's partnership with Hub brings new resources to existing and prospective customers. We are excited to join a company dedicated to excellence in all aspects of employee benefits, insurance and risk management around the world," said the bride.

After the acquisition, AGP will be called HUB International Company AGP.

Financial consulting services for this transaction are provided by Tag Financial.

Linda Keller, Chief Operating Officer and Practice Leader at Hub Employee Welfare, said: “We are delighted to welcome AGP to HUB. Their deep expertise in international NGOs, higher education and nonprofit industries enhances our ability to provide customers with more comprehensive solutions.

“Together, we help accelerate growth and open up new opportunities to the customers we serve.”

The development comes after the recent introduction to the Hub Private Client Small Business Solution, an insurance product designed for small business owners with high net worth.

The hub portfolio based in Chicago, Illinois includes risk management, insurance, employee benefits, retirement, and wealth management products and services.

“Hub International snap-up Allegiant Global Partners” was originally created and published by GlobalData-owned brand International International.
