After Phoenix Suns All-Star Devin Booker debuted the signature sneaker on the court last year during the 30th anniversary of Forrest Gump, Nike will release the signature sneaker on Friday, January 24th. Cortez Book 1 is available online at 10am PT/7am PT.
Available on Nike.com for $140, the durable Nike Cortez Book 1 sneakers are inspired by the hit 1994 movie "Forrest Gump," starring Tom Hanks, Robin Wright Starring Gary Sinise, Sally Field, Mykelti Williamson and others.
Designed with sharp lines and a strong color scheme, this sneaker features responsive traction and cushioned support for extra bounce while playing basketball or lounging - especially when you're sitting on a park bench waiting for the bus. .
Made from a mix of canvas and premium leather, the sneaker features Nike Air Zoom in the forefoot for speed, absorption and cushioning, and a zigzag pattern on the sole for grip and traction on the court.
