House DEM leader joins GOP to cancel Trump's improper effort

Top Democrats said Wednesday they will join Republicans to block the family vote against impeachment president Donald Trump.

House Democratic Caucus Chairman Peter Aguilar (D-Calif. "I will vote with members of the leadership team to vote for that motion."

Aguilar said a lawmaker’s push in his caucus was a “distraction” to Democratic messaging, and Republicans tried to explore Medicaid through Trump’s “big and beautiful bill,” a narrative that the Republicans delayed.

Democrats stood on the House floor on Tuesday and called up Rep. Shri Thanedar.

House Republican leaders chose to vote Wednesday night to list the measure, and if successful, the process would block the entire family vote on the improvisation.

Thanedar acknowledged his colleagues’ concerns about his actions at a press conference Wednesday morning, though he insisted that it would not stop him.

"Even some Democrats call me a lunatic, just like the president calls me a lunatic," Michigan Democrats said.

"But they never said, no one said to me: 'Mr. Andedar, the seven improvisations you submitted to the U.S. Congress, they are S -------. They are not good. They missed, missed, missed this. They are not legally correct.' They didn't do that."

But, hours later, Aguilar said it was not the right time to push the improvisation effort.

"It's an influential moment, with our colleagues locking themselves in a room for 24 hours to protect and defend health care. We shouldn't talk about this incorrect, untimely proposal," Aguilar said.

"The president is no stranger to improvisation each, he was improvised twice. The improvisation is a tool that can be used, but it takes weeks to use. Now, the question of the day is, will the Hill Republicans stand up and support health care in this country?"

When White House spokesman Liz Huston commented on Thanedar's push, he told Fox News Digital: "Every action taken by President Trump and his administration is completely legal and firmly rooted in the will of the American people. President Trump is following his promise: Securing our borders, making our borders huge investments, investing in the United States, and restoring the leadership of ordinary people."

"At the same time, Democrats once again demonstrate the position of their true priorities - the safety, security, and well-being of hard-working American citizens related to illegal immigration. This desperate impulse resilience is nothing more than a reckless political act of Americans."

No Republicans are expected to vote to continue the improvisation.
