Subway police announced Sunday that they were arrested in two armed carjacks in the Harris Teeter parking lot near the Naval Court in Washington on Friday afternoon.

In addition to the victim’s personal belongings, the senior staff government-issued iPhone, MacBook, ID and Capitol parking pass were identified as missing in police reports obtained by Fox News Digital. Jacobs' office did not comment, but confirmed that the device was wiped immediately.

According to Metro police, on Friday, around 12:08 p.m., the suspect approached the victim when he left the car and asked the victim for the car keys. Police said one of the suspects waved a pistol when the staff refused and obtained the keys before the suspect fled the victim's vehicle.

The Naval Court is a popular community in Washington, located south of the U.S. Capitol and home to the Washington National Baseball Stadium. Although the community has transformed into an urban hub for congressional staff and young professionals over the past decade, it is also a subject of criticism of its crime.
