Harry Kane, who has removed the criticism he received from his competitors during a long wait for the first trophy of his career, said: “We will see what people are talking about now.”

Kane, 32, won the Bundesliga against Bayern Munich on May 4 and lifted it championship Saturday at Allianz Arena after his team beat Borussia Monchengladbach.

Competitor fans mocked the unlimited wait of the England captain, waiting for his first championship medal in his outstanding career and led him to leave junior club Tottenham Hotspur's Tottenham to join the Bundesliga Giants in 2023.

"It's the weight on the shoulder," Kane told the Times. "I'm very aware that I'm not winning. I put more pressure on myself than anyone else. As your years start thinking: 'Will it happen?' You keep moving forward and you push your own good, and that's definitely one of them.

Despite collecting many personal acclaim, Kane failed to win the trophy during his legendary career, but he cultivated talk about the trophy "curse".

"I'm not that different from what I've been before I won," Kane said. "It's something missing from my resume. From a personal point of view, I've achieved a lot of important things in my career, and it's one of the things I obviously want to achieve, a team champion, a league champion. I still want to achieve the team trophy, so it's not stopping right now, so it doesn't like: 'That's the end, I hung my boots.''.

“This is just the beginning of hope.”

Kane's Bundesliga success came after losing the Champions League final and two European Championship finals last season, two European Championship finals and German Super Cup finals.

“To be honest, it’s great to have a celebration on the other end that I’ve never had before,” he said. “I’ve seen a fair portion of the other teams canceling the trophy.”

Bayern's captive against the 33rd Bundesliga champion was confirmed when second-place Bayer Leverkusen led 2-2 with Freiburg. Kane gathered with several of his Bayern teammates to watch the game, and Kane posted videos about the celebration of their social media accounts.

"Once formalized, a switch just went out, and Eric and I especially started to make the champagne play, the song started, and everyone else just showed up," Kane said. "It was a special night, everyone was totally free."

Kane, who is expected to be the first player to finish the first two Bundesliga seasons, was the top scorer of the game, reflecting on his choice to leave North London and move to Bavaria.

"It was a big decision," Kane said. "I could have been easily staying in the Spurs, playing in the Premier League and scoring goals, but I wanted to push myself. I wanted to see how great I could be and doing well in the biggest game, which is the biggest title and Champions League game. I've done that.

"Although we didn't succeed in big games and other games we played in big nights. I think tonight is just some special start."
