Grant Thornton’s consultant has added Grant Thornton Netherlands to the multinational multidisciplinary platform founded earlier in 2025.
The integration will enable the Dutch business to provide improved services to new and existing customers and support investments in “quality”, “innovation” investments, and customer-centric delivery.
Meanwhile, the platform will be strengthened by adding 800 workforces to the Dutch unit in eight offices.
The platform will continue to leverage its international operations in Grant Thornton's international network, including member companies in more than 150 markets around the world.
The transaction is expected to be completed later this year, subject to customary end conditions and regulatory permits.
In addition, Grant Thornton Netherlands' audit practice will maintain its independence through alternative practice structures.
Marcel Blöte, CEO of Grant Thornton Netherlands, will maintain his leadership position.
“Unioning with Grant Thornton Advisors allows us to provide our clients with enhanced value as a diversified platform capable of growing and expanding. We will be able to provide our employees with an attractive career pathway while maintaining our commitment to Hallmark entrepreneurial culture and quality.”
“In general, we will ensure that we are the top ten companies in the future market, which can be flexible in responding to dynamic markets and changing regulations.”
The platform is established through consulting and tax services from Grant Thornton Advisors and Grant Thornton Ireland, headquartered in the United States.
In addition to independent audit practices, the platform provides $2.7 billion in revenue, providing prime ministerial consultation and tax practice.
With approximately 60 offices in the United States, Ireland, the UAE and other territories, it focuses on delivering a unified customer experience and is supported by a team of approximately 13,000 people.
New Mountain Capital, a New York-based private equity firm, led the investor group to support the platform.
In April 2025, Grant Thornton, Grant Thornton Luxembourg and Cayman joined the platform.
Jim Peko, consultant CEO of Grant Thornton, said: “By uniting with outstanding high-growth companies such as Grant Thornton in the Netherlands, we have built a world-class service provider platform that spans the multinational market.
“We will continue to strengthen our position as a preferred destination for customers and team members, providing a single experience focused on quality and unparalleled service delivery.”
