The Golden State Warriors of the Seventh Seed got worse offensively from Steph Curry’s offense, earning a great offensive performance from buddy Hield and scorting seven games in Sunday’s game against the Second Seed Seed Houston Rockets with a 103-89 victory.

The Warriors will play Minnesota in the Western Conference semifinals. Game 1 is Tuesday (9:30 PM ET).

Hilder scored a 22-pointer with a career-high 33 points in the first half, scoring 15-12 in 15 and 11-1 in the 3s. Curry scored 22 points after only 3 points in the first half.

In the first half, Hield shot 8-9 from the field, including 3 shots 7-7. Curry made up for his first five shots and scored until he scored 3 points with 33.3 seconds left in the second quarter.

Golden State eliminated the Rockets in the collective experience of Curry, Draymond Green, Jimmy Butler and coach Steve Kerr. In the 2025 NBA playoffs, the champion's heart continues to beat.

The 12-0 Warriors in the late fourth quarter extended the lead to 94-74, and Curry found enough offenses in the last two quarters, including 14 in the fourth quarter. He also added 10 rebounds, 7 assists, two blocks and two steals.

Green scored 16 points, 8 rebounds and 7 assists, while Butler scored 20 points, 8 rebounds and 7 assists.

Golden State beat Houston 54-18 with three-pointers and shot from the field at 41.9%.

Rockets forward Amen Thompson scored a team-high 24 points, while center Alperen Sengun scored 21 points and 14 rebounds. But Jalen Green's offensive problems lasted only eight points, Dillon Brooks scored eight points, and the Rockets shot 40.5% from the field and 33.3% from the field.

Both teams compete with Game 7 history.

The home team won 113 of 152 games to enter Sunday's Warriors series finale. However, there have been seven games in the last eight NBA playoffs, including two road championships in 2024, 2023, 2022 and 2021.

The team leading the seven-time best series won 279 292 series before Sunday's match, while the Warriors avoided being the 14th team to lose the series with a 3-1 lead.

The Warriors became another road team to win Game 7, the third time in the past 16 seasons to beat both seeds (2010 Dallas San Antonio and Los Angeles Lakers in 2023, Los Angeles Lakers).
