Glasgow Film Festival sets James McAvoy event with full line-up

The Glasgow Film Festival has announced the full line-up for this year's 21st edition and will invite Glasgow-born Hollywood star James McAvoy to reflect on his career in a 'Conversation' event.

Organizers said on Tuesday that "over 12 days, Scotland's largest annual film celebration will showcase 92 world, British and Scottish premiere films from 39 countries", including 12 world premieres.

Meanwhile, Glasgow will also launch 'From the Heart of Europe: Austria on Screen', showcasing "an eclectic mix from hard-hitting drama to absurdist comedy" from Austria, including the films of Michael Haneke.
