Giant in the potential falcon Te Kyle Pitts

The New York Giants will enter their fourth season under the current regime of general manager Joe Schoen and head coach Brian Daboll. After a startling success in the first year under Daboll and Schoen, the Giants retreated in Year 2 and 3.

Two years ago, Schoen entered the trade market at the outset of free agents, ending with a close close acquisition of Darren Waller. After that, with the acquisition of Brian Burns last offseason, it was obvious that Schoen wasn't shy to explore the trade to improve the roster.

CBS Sports recently released the most likely landing point for former first-round draft pick Kyle Pitts, who is interesting to the Giants’ squad.

Can Giants pay immediately? They may lack the salary cap space, but Pitts’ attraction at 24 is that he can also stick with it for a long time. Head coach Brian Daboll will certainly pair the big guy well with Malik Nabers, which gives Russell Wilson a safety valve, as the offense has been very lacking in second-tier organizers over the past few years. Assuming that this link will extend until 2025, Pitts' arrival will also bode well for future assumed quarterback Jaxson Dart.

The Dallas Cowboys and Jacksonville Jaguars are also listed as potential fits for Pitts.

The Jaguars moved from the offseason to former Giants Evan Engram. Meanwhile, the Dallas Cowboys have just added George Pickens to an industry, so Dallas may be willing to sacrifice the draft capital in Pitts’ trade.

Pitts has been a disappointment for the Falcons since being drafted fourth in the 2021 NFL draft and may not spend a lot of capital in the trade. Pitts, on the other hand, will come in and will likely easily compete for the first place in the tight end position on the Giants depth chart.

Last offseason, the Giants let Saquon Barkley ride in free agency and replaced him with rookie sensational Malik Nabers to run. Russell Wilson is the team's new starter at least at the start of the season, and another weapon thrown to the Giants would be a big gain.

Pitts, 24, scored nearly $11 million in blocks in the upcoming season before becoming an unrestricted free agent for the next offseason. He has been attacking with Bijan Robinson and Drake London for the past few years, and while he didn't explode, playing with Malik Nabers could be a way to solve a Florida product.
