French TV releases on sale in season 2 of "Aspergirl"

French TV Release is the sales and co-production division of public broadcaster French TV Group, which will launch an international release from February 23-27 in the upcoming MIP London Comedy series "Aspergirl" Season 2.

Season 2 of the country's largest TV exporter, "Aspergirl", was released globally by French TV stations, produced by Paris-based Patafilm, and is run by entrepreneur Antonin Ehrenberg and Velvet Films in Belgium Co-produced.

Filming "Aspergirl" season 2 of "Aspergirl" begins in September in Angoulême, with 22 minutes per chapter and will be ready in the fall.

"Aspergirl" opens Louison, a single mother who discovers her son Guilhem has autism spectrum disorder when he was diagnosed after an incident at school. Route’s main character in the series is played by French actress Nicole Ferroni (“Psychology”).

In S2, Louison lives in perfect love with staunch environmentalist Marica after it’s hard to accept Guilhem’s decision to live with her father rather than live with her. They are preparing to realize their plans to live together and build an energy-sufficient home.

But suddenly, Guilhem lived with his mother five years later. When she learns that Guilhem joins a plan to settle on Mars, Louison tries to convince him to stay on good old earth, even if it means jeopardizing her relationship.

Created by Chloé Lefour and Claire Saint-Pierre with Judith Godinot and Hadrien cousins, S2 is directed by Alice and Rose Philippon.

In 2023, the series competed in the official French selection of Mania in the series, winning the Best Actor Award from Carel Brown, who played the role of Guilhem in Season 1. Arthur de Crépy ("Tapie") plays the Guilhem role in S2.

The new season also stars actor Louis Make up ("Thorough Cragno"), Suzanne de Baecque ("Derby Girl"), Marc Fraize ("Sevigny" Antoinette of Sène”), Alexandre Steiger (“Marianne”), Man Choukrane (“Those” blushing”), Chaili Sufir and Eva Rami (“Revenge of Transparent Eyes ”).

"Aspergirl" Season 2 will be launched in France through Ciné+ OCS, a paid TV operator owned by Canal+ Group, the fruit of the acquisition of Canal+ OCS and Orange Studio, which are the pay TV division and film division of France's leading Orange's telecommunications company .
