Freedom Flotilla Group says ships carrying Gaza aid and activists were attacked by Malta

The group did not immediately attribute the drone attack to any country or group, nor did it make a claim of responsibility.

The Free Fleet describes itself as “a solidarity movement composed of movements and initiatives around the world that have joined forces to end the illegal blockade of Gaza.”

In its targets for the rebellious navigation with Gaza, the group said its goal was to “condemn and publicize other governments and global actors’ accomplices in creating the lockdown, including “most notably the U.S. government,” which said it “has underwritten Israeli violence against the Palestinians for decades.”
