After completely turning around the Colorado college football program, news about Deion Sanders' potential transfer to the NFL seems a little vague.
The Dallas Cowboys reached out to Sanders, who all but turned down the opportunity, but admitted it would be "a lot of fun."
Sanders himself said he would consider coaching in the NFL if it meant continuing to coach his sons. Scheidel is expected to be the No. 1 pick in this year's NFL draft.

But as appealing as the idea of the family matter continuing may sound, one NFL great said he'd rather see Sanders stay in college, and for good reason.
In short, Vince Wilfork thinks college students need Coach Prime more than professional athletes.
"He's more of an asset to the university because he can touch so many young kids," Wilfork said in a recent interview with Fox News Digital. "Everyone has their own dream, but from Externally, he can impact more people when it matters than one guy making millions of dollars and you can't reach that with his leadership."
"What he represents really helps those young people. I'd rather see him helping kids because they need it more than the guys who are making millions of dollars. I just think he's a trailblazer at this level."

Sanders' first coaching job was at Jackson State, and when he got the Colorado job, several players followed, including his son as well as Travis Hunter, who later became a two-way The superstar becomes the Heisman Trophy winner this season. Hunter will also be a top-five pick, just like his quarterback.
When Hunter won the Heisman Trophy, he had a long hug with his coach and cried on his shoulder.
