Former Juventus midfielder Alessio Tacchinardi discusses Douglas Luiz's uneasiness in Turin and recalls what Thiago Motta did in October: "It made my blood cold."

Angry Douglas Luiz recently vented frustration with Instagram comments, where he answered a Juventus fan who criticized him.

The Brazilian midfielder failed to prove his €50 million price card at Allianz Stadium, playing only 800 minutes in all matches and missing 20 games due to injury.

Former Giventos midfielder Tacchinardi, a Dore Serie A champion who won the 1996 Champions League in Turin, discussed with Ilbian Conero the latest claim of Douglas Luiz in YouTube performance.

Tacchinardi recalls the start of the season, which shows that he has seen trouble.

"Juventus vs. Cagliari a few days after his handball against Leipzig," he said.

Douglas Luiz's Juventus upset

"Motta was asked if he was talking to Douglas, but he replied, 'No, but he had a good attitude to training." I immediately thought, "Motta doesn't talk to certain players." If you see someone as one of your players, then you motivate them in training, which doesn't make sense, but maybe it's Motta's approach, Emery makes him feel important and text him, saying, 'You're my best player. "I don't think Douglas has forgotten how to play."

Douglas Luiz, who had two consecutive penalty kicks against Leipzig and Cagliari in October, never seemed to have a good attitude with former Bianconeri coach Motta.

Tachinadi continued: “The first thing you do when a player makes this mistake is to try to motivate him.”

"When I hear what Motta says, it makes my blood cold. Then the whole season is a disaster. I don't know if he's trained; I don't think so. He's injured, but has no real connection with Motta. Maybe even the club might ask Motta why Douglas Luiz never played two games in a row."

Douglas Luiz has only made a substitute appearance under new coach Igor Tudor, but has recently returned from injury.

His contract in Turin will expire in June 2029.
