Fintech Revolut selects Article 4 for identity verification

British fintech company Revolut has selected Dutch identity service provider fourth tier as its "strategic partner".

The partnership is designed to support Revolut's expansion plans while ensuring "operational agility" and "scalability".

Fourthline has assisted Revolut with its clients throughout the EU and UK and gain potential future support in other markets.

Leveraging AI, including biometric analysis, active livices detection and document verification, Fourthline’s technology is expected to enhance Revolut’s customer verification process.

The partnership also provides account management and technical support tailored to Revolut's operational requirements.

Revolut plans to integrate Fourthline’s verification technology through a single API, which will help maintain consistent compliance standards across its services.

“Our exponential growth in multiple markets requires compliance partners to keep up with our expansion while maintaining the seamless user experience customers expect.

“After a rigorous selection process, the fourth line demonstrated an impressive technical capability and a reliable track record of working with fast-growing partners, making them a clear choice for the next phase of growth in Revolut.”

"Winning the competitive RFP of Revolut represents an important milestone in the fourth-tier journey. As financial regulations continue to evolve across global markets, our technology provides forward-looking institutions, such as Revolut, with their adaptability and security, they need to expand steadily."

“We are pleased to support Revolut’s onboarding process in the EU and UK, with potential expansion to new territory as Revolut continues its global growth trajectory.”

In January this year, Revolut launched a robot consultant service in Singapore.

The service is designed to automate investment processes and provide customers with personalized portfolio management solutions.

"Financial tech company Revolut chose the fourth line of identity verification" was originally created and published by International, a brand owned by GlobalData.
