Fever is praised for its decision in the absence of Caitlin Clark

The fever was decided in the absence of Caitlin Clark, initially appearing at Athlon Sports.

Nowadays, Indiana has trouble having a fever.

They have lost two straight games since Caitlin Clark was diagnosed with a sprain, so they are expected to miss at least two weeks. They also lost guards Sydney Colson and Sophie Cunningham in the absence of Friday to the Connecticut Suns, which made them thin in the backcourt.

But something touching happened on Friday at the Gainbridge Fieldhouse in Indianapolis. Some cute dogs are brought from Indyhumane and can be adopted, while fans on social media are moved by gestures.

Founded in 1905, Indyhumane is a local nonprofit that allows people to adopt rescue animals. It also provides veterinary services for sick pets, as well as small and sterilized services.

The fever seems to have enough offensive firepower to manage without Clark. During the offseason, they acquired former All-Stars Natasha Howard and Dewanna Bonner, which made the team a legitimate champion contender in the hearts of many.

Indiana Hot forward Natasha Howard (6) plays against the Chicago Sky at Gainbridge Fieldhouse.

It currently has a record of 2-4, and it will visit Angel Reese and The Chicago Sky after hosting the Washington Mystics on Tuesday, as well as defending WNBA champion New York's Liberty Statue.

Indiana lost to 90-88 90-88 last Saturday when it blew up a considerable second-half lead. Clark failed to get a potential game-winning three-pointer before the time expires because she believes New York's Natasha Cloud fouled when she eliminated the basketball.
