Father says Virginia student under investigation investigates locker room incident

A Virginia father said Wednesday that Loudon County Public School (LCPS) officials investigated his son and two others to ask why a biological female student was in the boy's locker room.

According to a May 5 report by WJLA, the biological female student named male documented three male students in the locker room, talking about feeling uncomfortable with trans students there. Transgender students allegedly filed a complaint that turned into a formal headline investigation of sexual harassment by LCD.

Seth Wolfe told "Fox and friends“On Wednesday, his son, a sophomore at Stone Bridge High School, was one of three boys in the locker room that day, and found the whole situation confusing.

"It's a conversation he's among his peers. He doesn't even question the students or anything like that," Wolf said. "Then there is no way to have those rights, not even questioning that, and most importantly, an investigation into it is very confusing."

"I want to show that these boys have absolutely nothing wrong. All they do is ask, 'Why is there a girl in our locker room?' They say they are concerned.

He said the school’s gender policy violates state law and federal policy on the grounds of President Donald Trump’s executive order on gender identity.

"It's a big problem for them and we have to solve it," Herzler told Fox and his friends. "It's really a crazy situation, and those real victims are the people who are punished."

Virginia Governor Glenn Youngkin announced Tuesday that he and Attorney General Jason Miyares investigated the locker room incident after the WJLA report.

"It is deeply concerned that reading another incident at Loudon County Schools, where members of the opposite sex violated the privacy of students in the locker room. Even more shocking is that victims of this violation are under investigation. This is distrust. I am distrustful. I ask Attorney General MIYARES to investigate every student's privacy immediately, honorable, respectful, safe domination.

Loudoun County, one of several school districts in Northern Virginia, is currently another title IX investigation of the Trump administration’s gender identity policy.

When further comments were obtained, LCP returned to a statement issued shortly after the WJLA story was published, strongly denied that the report was “false and misleading information presented in a biased manner from a single source.”

"Absolutely clear: Loudon County Public Schools (LCPs) do not conduct investigations or disciplines based on their personal opinions, thoughts or beliefs, provided that these expressions do not violate policies that prohibit hate speech, discriminatory language, threats or other forms of harmful or subversive behavior," the LCP said in a statement to Fox News Digital. "However, when student behavior violates the LCPS's student rights and liability manual, the LCP does conduct investigations and may adopt disciplinary action."

“As WJLA knows, as this issue may lead to discipline, the LCP does not publicly discuss the details of the incident. Student privacy is a fundamental right protected by policy and law, and the LCP firmly adheres to this principle. There are no exceptions. Our decisions should not be permitted by any news organization to determine any facts to determine any facts without determining any facts, without determining any verified facts.

The LCP said they could not discuss details about issues protecting students’ privacy, but said they were “very frustrated to see “Virginia officials publicly criticizing schools,” which was “completely criticized” according to the WJLA report.

"We reject any representations that imply that our schools are unsafe or cannot protect the rights of all students. We firmly grasp legal and ethical obligations to uphold the rights of every student and will continue to create and foster an environment that welcomes and accepts all students so that everyone has the opportunity to learn, grow and succeed," the statement continued.
