Fans react to bad news about Page Bux on Wednesday

Fans reacted to the bad news about Paige Bueckers on Wednesday, initially appearing on Athlon Sports.

In the tough early schedule of the Dallas Wing, the Paige Bueckers (the No. 1 pick in the WNBA draft) earned a good start, and it still took a long time for a team to blend its chemistry and game style. The Bueckers averaged 14.7 points that month, ranking fourth in the WNBA with 6.7 assists per game. She also grabbed 4.5 rebounds and hits with 2.0 steals and 1.0 blocks.

While those numbers seem to have earned her the WNBA's "Rookie of the Month Award", she was surprised when the league substitute named Mystics forward Kiki Iriafen (13.9 points, 10.1 rebounds, 0.9 assists) as the award. Bueckers suffered a concussion on May 27, but the injury took only one game to her.

Wing fans are unhappy. It was pointed out that Bex was the first among rookies in steals, assists and steals in May, ranking second, ranking first among advanced statistics such as victory stocks and offensive ratings. "You're all cheating like this." The poster reads.

Another wrote, "I mean, it's a little crazy. The Paige Bueckers statistics are better, but we all know that we keep moving forward. Regardless, the rookie of the year means more."

Another person is familiar with Dallas fans, accusing the new coach: "She missed a game in May. Perhaps Dallas staff should have a long and hard time thinking about why the future of their franchise is not being better utilized, so that's not even a problem. Use 20% of the usage to get out of here and do some drama for her."

But it was also supported by the WNBA decision. It's just not from Dallas.

One fan praised the league for not awarding the award to Bueckers: "WOW WNBA got the ball right. Kiki plays great in every Mysticism game. When Aaliyah Edward returned, she even maintained the starting position."

She is also recognized by Indiana: "A great choice! ! ! Sincere fan of fever."

Another added: "100% worth. I saw her drama in person last night and she didn’t even look like a rookie!"
