President Trump used a rally in Michigan to mark what he claimed that “according to many, “the first 100 days of the most successful administration in our history were many.”
He highlighted his efforts to address illegal immigration, bringing work back to the United States and ending what he calls the "inflation nightmare."
The BBC validation has examined some of the main claims in his speech.
Trump said he has "a price of gasoline" since he took office.
On April 29, the average price of “regular” gasoline or gasoline across the United States was $3.16 (£2.36) according to the American Automobile Association (AAA).
That's a slight increase from the $3.125 (£2.33) recorded by the AAA on the day Trump entered the White House.
In his speech, he added that gasoline prices “have reached only $1.98 in many states.”
This is what he has made several times, but we can't find evidence of the low price.
According to AAA, the average gas price in no state is below $2.67 (£1.99) as of April 29.
The U.S. president also talked about the cost of eggs — concerns among many American consumers due to the ongoing bird flu epidemic — and said: “The cost of eggs has dropped by 87% since I took office.”
This statement is wrong.
The average national price for consumers of twelve large A-grade eggs when Trump entered the office in January is about $4.95 (£3.70).
According to the latest available figures, that number rose to a record high of about $6.23 (£4.65) per dozen.
The White House noted that wholesale egg prices are evidence of improvement.
According to the USDA, wholesale prices have fallen since Trump took office - but about 52% of the price starts at $6.55 (£4.89), with twelve large white eggs in January to $3.15 (£2.34) the past week.
Trump spoke in detail about his efforts to resolve illegal immigration – a key campaign issue in last year’s general election.
"We have set a record for the lowest illegal crossing ever for two consecutive months," he said.
This claim is given the latest monthly data on illegal immigrants “encounter” records by U.S.-Mexico border officials.
In March, there were 7,181 immigrants there, and in February there were 8,346.
These are the lowest figures since monthly records began in 2000.
By comparison, under President Biden's leadership last year, there were about 140,000 contacts in each month of each of the few months last year.
His term saw recorded transit numbers and then fell at the end of his presidency.
The Immigration Policy Institute think tank has looked at the annual average of digital values available every month 2,000 years ago and said that illegal crossings this year are the lowest since the late 1960s, rather than the lowest “always”.
President Trump praised Elon Musk for his work at the Department of Administration Efficiency (DOGE) and said: "They saved more than $150 billion in waste, fraud and abuse."
Doge is a consulting firm that posted its total run of estimated savings on its website - the site was $160 billion when it was last updated on April 20.
However, less than 40% of this figure is broken down into personal savings – including cancellation of government contracts, grants and leases.
A BBC-verified analysis found that only half of these itemized savings were linked to documents or other forms of evidence.
Doge said it is working to upload all receipts in a "digestible and transparent manner."
The federal contract experts we spoke with also raised questions about Doge's largest savings savings and said some were exaggerated.
"Three months later, we created 350,000 jobs," Trump said.
This claim is supported by official numbers.
According to the Bureau of Labor Statistics, 345,000 jobs have been added in the first two months of Trump's office (the latest available data).
However, during the same period last year, President Biden added 468,000 jobs under President Biden's leadership.
"In recent memory, the work gains from native-born Americans outweigh the work gains of foreign workers for the first time," Trump also said.
Indeed, in the first two months of President Trump’s tenure, more jobs were created for indigenous workers than foreign-born workers.
This also happened under President Biden from February to April last year.
