FA Cup Final 2025: Crystal Palace beats Manchester City in a handful of frustration | Football News

Crystal Palace won their first major trophy by defeating Manchester City 1-0 in the FA Cup final at Wembley Stadium.

Crystal Palace's Eberechi Eze won the FA Cup 1-0 and won the only goal of the first major trophy in club history, triggering a huge South London party.

16 minutes later, local Eze volleyballed 16 minutes later, former Manchester United goalkeeper Dean Henderson showed heroism in the Palace's goal, and City wasted a lot of opportunities in Saturday's fascinating final, including penalty kicks.

After England striker Eze's finals for the third time in the finals of his last eight goals and semi-finals, the Palace scored completely, and the Palace had to survive in the city siege to inspire wild celebrations.

Omar Marmoush lost Henderson's first-half free throw in the Cup final for the second straight season, a painful sport in which they are considered a powerful country in British football and will have no home trophy for the first time since 2016-17.

It was an unabashed joy for the numerous rankings of the Royal Palace’s purple and blue lineup, as Oliver Glasner’s team suffered a third lucky time after suffering a crushing defeat in the first two FA Cup finals in 1990 and 2016.

Glasner, who was in charge of the club 15 months ago, became the first Austrian coach to win the FA Cup.

For much of the past decade, Manchester City has been a pale imitation of the dominant side of British gaming.

But the way they started with Wembley shows that Guardiola's determination proves that talking about their deaths is greatly exaggerated.

City Hemmed Palace chose a super-large defensive midfielder, halfway down their own, and in the 15-minute opening time Kevin de Bruyne pulled the strings away for his last Wembley appearance in the city color.

His attic ball picked Erling Haaland, who did his best in the distance and soon after, he also beat Josko Gvardiol's header.

The palace finally broke the siege, and in their first corporate transcendence of the central circle, they tore the lines of the city.

Jean-Philippe Mateta played at Daniel Munoz, who met his cross, and Eze swung his first volley, crossed Stefan Ortega, causing noise from palace fans.

Ismaila Sarr almost 2-0, but Ortega saved it while Henderson seemed to have the heart of the palace in their mouths as he handled the ball outside his area under pressure from Haaland, but the subsequent var check gave him a possible red card.

Palace defender Tyrick Mitchell tripped Bernardo Silva, while referee Stuart Attwell pointed out the position. Surprisingly, Hyland didn’t accept it, instead, Omar Marmoush had started his first fine since joining Manchester City in January, but his efforts lacked faith and Henderson succumbed to his savings.

Henderson made a save to prevent Jeremy Doku’s curling efforts, and the Palace reached halftime despite the Palace’s only 19% property.

Munoz thought he had a 2-0 record in the hour, but a long VAR check ruled his offside effort.

After the break, the seven-time winner city ended countless times, with Henderson and his defender performing heroes taking the lead to maintaining the palace.

With the 10-minute downtime, the palace fans were moaning loudly, but after closer shaving and nail pricks, the final whistle rang, and the club's national anthem yelled around the stadium.
