FBI bomb technicians are investigating a series of damage left near a fertility clinic Saturday after the explosion in Palm Springs, California.
The explosion occurred before 11 a.m. local time on North India Canyon Avenue near East Tachewa Avenue near the U.S. Reproductive Center facility.
The FBI National News Office confirmed to Fox News Digital Digital that it responded “with investigators, bomb technicians and (its) evidence response team.”

Posts on social media seem to show nearby businesses, glass and debris blowing away from the windows.
The fertility clinic at the American Reproductive Center said no staff was injured and that when the building was damaged, the IVF laboratory, including eggs, embryos and reproductive materials, was spared.
“This morning, an unexpected tragic incident occurred outside our Palm Springs facility when a car exploded in a parking lot near our building,” the company wrote in a Facebook post. “We were heartbroken to learn that the incident had taken lives and caused harm, and we expressed our deepest condolences to affected individuals and families.”

Police officials said at least one death appears to be in danger, according to a report by the Desert Sun. Number of people who have not released the damage.
The company said it is undergoing a "complete safety check" and that confirmed operations and sensitive medical areas are not affected by the explosion.

Palm Springs Police Department and fire officials are on the scene, asking residents to stay away from the area so first responders can work.
The Palm Springs Police Department’s active call log lists multiple responses to medical services in the 1100 block of N Palm Canyon Drive, starting at 11 a.m. local time.
According to police records, there are also a variety of thefts in the area.

The cause of the explosion has not been released yet.
According to the Desert Sun, officials said they did not rule out that the incident was an act of "terrorist".

U.S. Attorney Bill Essayli, a central California region, said in an X post that once details are confirmed, his office will post as much as possible.
“We know the explosion that happened in Palm Springs this morning,” Eseyley wrote in the post. "The FBI is on the scene and will investigate whether this was intentional act. Once we can confirm the details, we will post as much information as possible."

Gov. Gavin Newsom's press office confirmed that he had briefed the explosion.
"Through @CAL_OES, the state is coordinating with local and federal authorities to support the response," the X post said.
The Palm Springs Police Department, the Palm Springs Fire Department, the California Highway Patrol and the Desert Regional Medical Center did not immediately respond to a request for comment from Fox News Digital.
The Riverside County Sheriff’s Office told Fox News Digital that there was no response to the incident.
