Milwaukee (AP) — There is no mystery about what inspired the Minnesota twins in a 13-game winning streak.
Their pitchers are rolling, unlike anyone in twin history.
Minnesota eliminated for the third straight time in a 7-0 win over the Milwaukee Brewers on Saturday. The twins won six runs in a 8-6 win in Baltimore Wednesday, but they never gave up since.

These 33 consecutive closed games were the longest winning streak in the Twins' history, starting in 1961. When they served as Washington Senator, they had three longer winning streaks, but the latest was 1913.
The winning streak includes three consecutive wins. Chris Paddack won seven innings in a 4-0 victory in Baltimore on Thursday. Joe Ryan and Pablo López gave up two innings in the final two nights of Milwaukee.
“You want to follow suit,” Lopez said after Saturday’s game. "You want to be the one who just keeps that momentum. Joe did it after Padak. I want to do it after Joe. I woke up today and felt very motivated and felt like I wanted to keep going.
This represents the second longest winning streak in the history of the twins. They won 15 World Series titles in 1991 in a row.

This is also the second consecutive year that the twins have won a winning streak of at least 12 games.
They are the first Major League Baseball team to win 12 consecutive games since Cleveland won the game in 2016-17. The Golden State Warriors in the NBA are the only other team in one of the men's major sports leagues (MLB, NBA, NFL, NHL), and he performed well in 2014-15, 2015-16-16 and 2016-17.
Over the past two years, the twins have used long winning streaks to rebound in a slow start.
The twins started 7-13 in 12 straight games last year, though they eventually missed the playoffs after losing seven of their last eight games. This year, the twins were 13-20 and then won 13 in a row.

The pitching has locked in the transition.
"The boys are doing it all the time, and it's a nice run, but I don't want to talk too much about it," said twin manager Rocco Baldelli. "I'd rather let them keep playing the way they play and pitch the way they pitch."
The Minnesota starter combined 1-5 with a score of 6.90 ERA in the first 10 games of the Twins. They are 15-4 MLB leads by 2.46 ERA in 36 games since then.
“Once you start from spring, you can start from spring, you can do good routines in spring, drawing a schedule after the next few early days and some rainers,” Bailey Ober said. “I feel like we’re just doing our things as planned and doing.”

The bullpen is already better. Since May 6, the twins’ rescuers have allowed 38 1/3 of the innings to win a run.
"The most important thing is that we are hitting the area with a strike," Danny Coulombe said. "We have a lot of really good things in this bullpen, so when you mash the area with good stuff, good things usually happen. ”
Excellent pitching helps the twins take damage from critical positions while fighting for positions loaded with Al Central. Minnesota is second, behind the Detroit Tigers four games.
Shortstop Carlos Correa and midfielder Byron Buxton were both on the seven-day list of concussion injuries after colliding while chasing the shallow fly ball on Thursday. Smithman Willi Castro also quit Saturday after he fouled his right knee with a 3-0 victory in Milwaukee on Friday.
Even though some of the tallest batsmen were missing, the twins managed to make it roll. It helps when the pitcher doesn't allow any running at all.
