Las Vegas - Erin Blanchfield remembers getting a six-minute warning in the locker room.

Over time, even in the adrenaline shooting state before the fight, Blanchefield (13-2 MMA, 7-2 UFC) thought something had happened.

"It's been six minutes," Blanchfield told MMA Junkie and other reporters on ESPN 68 at UFC. “I thought I would be told, ‘Well, it’s time.’ Then, Hunter (Campbell) comes in and tells me what’s going on.

According to Blanchfield, Campbell told her barber (14-2 MMA, 9-2 UFC) that she suffered a discount on seizures before the strike.

Meanwhile, a confused broadcast team tried to play the pre-war video package, but no fighter went out. They need to have a business break before passing more information.

While it is not clear exactly what the barber’s medical problem is, Blanchfield strives to keep his mind wrapped around this situation.

"I think I'm still incredible right now. I feel like I missed my weight yesterday because we know this fight since January. You might have been overweight by 50 pounds, but still missed the weight. So she missed the weight, she missed Saturday, and then she was on Saturday. She could get to the locker room. I should be ready. I'm ready. I'm ready. I'm ready. Not professional.

Blanchfield and Barber were booked in 2021 to build with blood since the battle. The round was cancelled due to the barber's evacuation. Then, when the barber missed Friday’s weight, things were taken to another level.

"We should be in the top five in the world and be the best in the world," said Brandfield. "Yes, that's about it."

When asked what advice she gave to the barber, Blanchefield did not back down. She said she has never experienced anything out of reach in her career competing for career, amateur and professional career.

"I don't know, she needs to look at another department," said Brandfield. "She needs to fix her life. She just needs to fix herself. I think every aspect of her life is a mess."

As for the next step, Blanchefield is not sure. If she beat the barber on Saturday with an impressive barber, the performance could get her to the title with Valentina Shevchenko. But as Natalia Silva waited on the wings, the division's roadmap remains blurry.

"This battle could be a (knockout) fight," said Blanchefield. "Valentina knows that. She wants to play in her future competition. I'm going to actually have a show tonight. It definitely put me in a weird place. I know there are other girls in the top five I can fight. I think we just have to go back and reevaluate."
