Real Madrid striker Enderrick praised team-mate Antonio Rudiger for steering him through a goal drought and dedicated his brace in Thursday's 5-2 Copa del Rey win over Celta Vigo. Defender.

Real Madrid survived the last 16 at the Bernabeu, with Celta equalizing from 2-0 down in the 91st minute before the home side scored two of their last three goals in extra time. The goal came from the Brazil international.

The 18-year-old Ndrick started the season well, opening his account in La Liga and the Champions League, but has not scored since September 17 and has only played a total of 83 minutes in the league this season.

"I work every day," Enderrick told Real Madrid TV. "My two goals were from Antonio Rudiger. He knows what he does for me every day. He never praises me, which is a good thing! He tells me what to do, score goals, make runs, Keep fighting. He gave me a tough game yesterday in training and I was thinking at home, he's a great guy."

Ndrick's first goal came from a turn on the edge of the box - with the teenager tearing off his shirt in celebration - while the second came from a nimble back-heel inside the six-yard box Shoot.

"(The first one) was a very important goal for me," Endrick said when asked about the lively celebration. "This is my job. I have to do everything for the team, score goals, do everything. To score for Madrid, for the fans, the players, the staff, is really good. In the last Copa America game I missed opportunities today and I had two chances and scored.”

Madrid returned to form with this cup win after losing 5-2 to Barcelona in the Spanish Super Cup final in Saudi Arabia on Sunday.

Captain Lucas Vazquez said the performance showcased Real Madrid's depth after manager Carlo Ancelotti rested key players such as Jude Bellingham and Fede Valverde.

"Enderrick did a great job in the time he had," Vazquez said. "It shows the quality of this team. We made changes and the team performed well and whoever came on performed well."

Ancelotti was asked about Bernabeu fans whistling at some of his players, including midfielder Aureliano Chumeni.

"This is a wake-up call from the fans to the players and the coach," Ancelotti said. "It's acceptable, considering what happened against Barcelona. The team reacted well, especially Chuameni , he played a great game.”
