Emma Raducanu has split with another coach after Nick Cavaday resigned over health concerns.

Cavaday has suffered from a chronic health condition for some time. That meant he missed some parts of her pasture season last year and was unable to travel to Oceania earlier in his plans this winter.

The news means Raducanu is looking for her seventh full-time manager in her three-and-a-half-year career.

When she books her appointment, the new coach will join a string of players through Nigel Sears, Andrew Richardson, Torben Beltz, Dmitry Tursunov, Sebastian Sachs and now Cavaday.

Raducanu will no doubt be disappointed as she was comfortable with Cavaday's low-key, highly technical coaching style. And she also likes the fact that she's known him since she was a stranger in college as a junior, just like her other inbred cousin Ally Jane O'Donoghue .

Cavaday was initially the man in charge of the Bromley Tennis Academy when Raducanu played red, orange and green ball tennis and his insight into the game made him perfect to oversee a certain Some technical changes include an enhanced forehand that was once vanilla.

Admittedly, Raducanu further tinkered with her motion before sending out errors at this year's Australian Open. But then, much of that may have stemmed from the post-clampsia she suffered at the end of last season, which prevented her from fine-tuning her new moves over the Christmas break.

"I've had the pleasure of working with Emma over the past 14 months," Cavaldi said in a statement. "(But) it's important to me to spend more time at home. time and prioritize getting back to health, which is hard to do with a massive calendar. I'm happy that Emma is now established on tour, ranked in the top 60, and I'm looking forward to seeing what she does from here. "

Raducanu also thanked Cavaday for "a great partnership over the past year, especially (AS), who helped me get back into the top 60 in the world. I wish him the best" All the best for him in his next chapter and we'll no doubt stay in touch."

Raducanu will host the WTA250 event in Singapore next week, arriving there on Thursday after a week of training in Melbourne. In the third round of the Australian Open, she was eliminated and lost to the world No. 2 IGA Swiatek 6-1, 6-0.

She is accompanied by her recently appointed fitness trainer Yutaka Nakamura. Her management advised her not to rush into a new coaching hire.
