Emilia-Romagna Grand Prix Results: Max Verstappen wins from Imola's Lando Norris

This is the right driving force for the 400th Grand Prix of Mark Red Bull.

Two warning periods resulted in a visionary battle between McLaren drivers.

When the British were the only pit stop, Piastri was heading towards Norris's goal and was planning to fight Norris, returning to Piastri with fresh tires.

Shortly after Norris stopped, Esteban Ocon’s Haas was parked on the hill between the corners of Tosa and Pirateella, resulting in the Virtual Safety Car (VSC) period.

Norris is at the forefront after VSC as Piastri stopped new tires to avoid being vulnerable to the cars behind.

Then, officials decided to deploy a complete safety car when Kimi Antonelli's Mercedes parked in exactly the same place as the Ocon.

This time, Verstappen and Norris paused for new tires, while Piastri didn't - because he still didn't have the right tires - which left Norris behind Piastri and instead on the new tires on 16 laps.

Norris suggested in the back of the safety car that the Piastri's tires "look dead" and that they shouldn't fight if they want to challenge Verstappen to win.

But McLaren chose not to run team orders, and the two fought three laps before Norris finally drove into the first Chikarn with five laps, by then Verstappen was out of reach.

The closed ring is fascinating, and the driver alternates between the old and fresh tires.

This allowed Hamilton to rise. He started using hard tires and ran for a long time, which allowed him to make his first stop under VSC and prepare new tires again under the safety car.

He passed Alson's Williams and Lakerke, only 1.4 seconds behind Piastri on the flag.

Leclerc struggled on the last lap on the old tires because he didn't have a fresh station for the safety car, but instead tried to stop Albon.

However, the housekeeper investigated Monaco's investigation to point out whether he forced Williams out of the track, when they passed Tamburello side by side, and Ferrari ordered him to hand over the position to him and gave Albon a fifth place.

George Russell played a tough game with Mercedes, falling from third innings.

Albon's teammate Carlos Sainz finished eighth before Isack Hadjar and Red Bull's Yuki Tsunoda's racing Bulls led, who scored after a qualifying defeat.

The timing of the two safety cars also undermined the hopes of Aston Martin and Fernando Alonso, after he was a brilliant fifth on the grid.

After a strong race in the early stages, keeping pace with Russell and Norris, early pit stops and limited tire distribution boxes packed with Aston and Alonso, who lamented on the radio that he was "the most unfortunate rider of all time" as he dropped to No. 11.
