Despite its occasional performances, the edge of the Edge (a 100-story outdoor viewing deck and 1,130 feet above New York City) isn't really a concert venue.
But as part of Samsung's multifaceted partnership with Red Hot rapper Doechii typeHitmakers Celebration 2024 - Around its new Galaxy S25 Edge phone, the Edge is not only the setting for a short yet powerful live show on Friday night, the entire place is tricked as a "Swamp in the Sky" filled with simulated tropical scenery (played in her frequently-appeared Alligator theme), get along with Jungle plants and work with Dry Dry Ice.
In a double moment, we see an ad for Doechii’s Samsung Partnership, which is a commercial for heading to the Hudson Courtyard, the Mini-Megapolis where the edge is, even more extraordinary, and after we reach the edge, your ear pops up at least twice, your ear pops up twice, outside the venue, if fog is emitted twice, then some kind of leaked loss will be leaked out if the dry ice is out of the ice.
Of course, this is actually a cloudy front that makes some San Francisco-like views, with only the tops of the tallest buildings covered with dark clouds.
It was the scene inside, with hundreds of specially invited Fabulosos dressed in "casual fashion" and ipped in a free drink and snack provided by the waiter. Shortly before 8 p.m., the door to the observation deck was opened and the attendees played the stairs leading to the deck from the illuminated stairs. The music was hit hard in the powerful speakers when the rain fell from the sky, but fortunately, the severe rain continued into the evening.
Eventually, after Edge employees dries from the double-high steps dug out from the stage at the edge of the deck, the old-fashioned beat of “Peanuts” begins, Doechii appears at the top of the stairs, wearing a fluffy beige jacket that matches the tall socks and high heels. She and Miss DJ Milan's spit back and forth as the rapper drove up the towering stairs, with each step about two feet below the next - it wasn't an easy task when rapping in spiked heels, but she pulled it apart. (Watch a song from the performance at the end of the video.)
Doechii gradually crosses the crowd into the stage, making a big fuss before “Denied is a river,” “Nissan Altima” and one or two people quit. Some were surprised to find that she wasn't playing "Anxiety", which was her biggest blow, but the scene focused on high-energy songs, and one's slow pace lowered the energy. (Also, although the artist rarely performs a full concert in events of this nature, one cannot blame her for wanting to end the competition before the rain comes in.
In this way, the crowd walks through the artificial ever glades and line up to drive the elevator back to the floor and reality…or any reality that happens in the city-sized Hudson yard.
