A new documentary highlights the rise of Sean "Diddy" Combs, first in the hip-hop world and later as a globally recognized music mogul.
Diddy was born and raised in New York, and his colorful past was recounted by his childhood friend, former employee and singer Al B. Sure, Al B. Sure has a son with Diddy's late ex-girlfriend Kim Porter.
"Diddy: The Making of a Bad Boy" comes just months after the fallen rapper was charged with a racketeering conspiracy. Sex trafficking by force, fraud or coercion; the federal indictment unsealed on September 17 states that this count includes transportation for the purpose of prostitution.

After their father passed away, Didi and her mother left money, allowing them to live a different lifestyle than their peers. Didi was often bullied by her peers because she was a rich kid in the class. At Janice's request, Patterson and his mother moved into the Combs home.
Patterson noted that he protected Dee Dee from bullies and that the two often attended parties at Dee Dee's childhood home, where they were exposed to alcohol and marijuana at a young age.
"He loved all kinds of alcohol. He loved refrigerated smoke," Patterson said. "He surrounded himself with drug addicts, lesbians, homosexuals. He surrounded himself with pimps and perverts. That's who our family was."

After the Biggie shooting, Diehl remembers "Puff running out the hospital door, grabbing my arm and saying, 'Gene, we have to pray.'"

When Dill was asked if he believed Diddy had something to do with Biggie's death, he said: "I think he put the big guys in that atmosphere. So, did he have anything directly to do with it? He probably did. ”
