He said: "The problem with this place is that under this government it's going to hell and as long as we have high taxes, heavy regulation and net zero, we're not going to grow. Smart people are leaving the country. Things That’s how tragic it is.”

Oakeshott is based in Dubai as International Editor of Talk TV and daily telegraphsaid Labor's "harmful tax on private schools" had prompted her to look elsewhere for the best place to educate her children. She said the UAE offered "endless opportunities" and had a "thriving economy".
She added: “I continue to support Richard in every way possible as we pursue our shared goal of building a prosperous Britain that wealth creators and many others will not want to flee.”
Asked whether the couple had invited Reform Party leader Nigel Farage to visit Dubai, Theis said: "No, he's very busy. He has various other international obligations."
