Democrats reportedly returned to focus with former President Joe Biden after an interview with "Scenery" on Thursday.

Biden faces the enthusiasm of Democrats, who claim that the former president continues to postpone himself to the spotlight because of his concerns about his mental acumen when he resurfaces in the office.

Former First Lady Jill Biden stepped in to her husband after trying to answer his acumen questions during her appearance Thursday.

Anthony Cole, a Democratic strategist and former Biden administration official, told The Hill: “The election is about the future.” Every interview he does compares with Trump, which doesn’t help democratic brands, which require trusted messengers and fighters that can attract independents and gently inspire bases. Joe Biden is not that way. ”

While Cole acknowledged that Biden was "good" to be responsible for some of Donald Trump's defeats in 2024, he questioned whether there is any difference now.

Cole asserted: "Honestly, what's the benefit now? From elected leaders to loyal parties, many Democrats are ready to turn the page. I just don't think he understands how wide and profound he is."

Other Democrats were impressed by Thursday’s appearance, claiming he wasn’t enough to accept responsibility for 2024.

A Democratic strategist believes Biden needs to be “responsible for his actions” and “thanks to the fact that he caused the Democrats to fail.”

"I don't think I'd like to take the fact that he shouldn't run anymore in the first place." "Why can't he come out and admit that this part is in him?"

Biden told "View" that he was not surprised that Harris was lost, accusing sexism and racism

Steve Schale, a longtime Biden ally who helped run a pro-bidding super PAC in the recent election cycle, urged Biden to emphasize his “human nature” rather than his public appearance of decline.

"President Biden has a way to build his presidency, but that's not," Shalai asserted. "I really hope he can embrace something he's been his business card for 50 years: his humanity."

Schal told Hill that he hopes Biden removes a page from former President Jimmy Carter's book and focuses on community outreach rather than keeping his legacy.

“By the end of his life, we remember the behavior of a man, not his words, which reminds us of the decent and humble nature of this man,” he said. “I really hope Biden will follow a similar path.”

Biden's recent interview is a delving into the final days of the Biden administration in a large number of new books, including accusation that the president's acumen was declining when he took office.

A democratic strategist who asked not to be named told Hill that the narrative surrounding Biden’s keenness has not disappeared and that will be something that future candidates must answer.

"The most important litmus test of any Democrat in the 2028 field is likely to be how and whether to make a political judgment to Biden within the last 18 months of his political career," the strategist said.

Some Democrats question why interviews are even necessary, as young Democrats are increasingly becoming future leaders of the party.

"I don't know who asked for it," said Democratic strategist Jon Reaish. "In fact, I think a lot of people are starting to do nothing to the younger generation of Democrats, and they are finally starting to keep their party away from people who are too long at the fair."

Fox News Digital contacted the Biden team for comment but didn't hear it immediately.
