Curry: Want to "ride as long as possible" with the warrior

SAN FRANCISCO - Golden State superstar Stephen Curry is excited about his chance to compete with Butler for a two-year title after Jimmy Butler III debuted in early February and played playoff basketball in the past three months.

The Warriors lost in five Western Conference second rounds to Minnesota, Curry, Butler and Draymond Green on the second day of the season, who thought they believed they could believe the Warriors could win the championship and make some improvements to the roster and good health.

"Our contracts - me, Draymond, Steve, Jimmy - all two years (more)," Curry said. "And we hope this journey will last as long as possible. But that's just what this team needs next year, answering these questions in the summer, everyone is ready to prepare themselves, hoping to spend another 82 season, hoping that in the event we don't have to have that glove for two months, there's only one comfortable room to play for the playoffs.

“I’m excited about it because there’s clear (at the top of the list) though there’s a lot of decisions to be made in the summer.”

Curry, Butler and Green wondered if Curry didn't reach the level 1 tight left hamstring at Curry if Curry was against Minnesota in the second quarter of the first game. Without Curry, the Warriors played four straight games. Curry said that if the Warriors can expand the series, everything will be potentially rewarding in Game 6 on Sunday. Curry still had to clean up and pass some live basketball.

"It will definitely be disappointed," Curry said. “We would imagine and believe that if we were healthy, we could have won everything. But you keep moving forward.

"…You look at the sample sizes over the past two months, even the Houston (first round) series, when we think of a goal, we have enough accomplishments and reach the point where we play very advanced basketball. Does that mean we can win the championship? We hope so."

After his first mad three months with the Warriors after his trade from Miami, Butler reiterated his excitement of playing side by side with Curry and Green.

"I'm totally content with being a basketball player, like the way I play the game," Butler said. "Come here and know that I'm second is Stephen, I think it's a really good thing, actually when you talk about one of the greatest players ever playing this game. I was able to come here and be his partner for a few years. Hopefully it's refreshing. That's a very advanced young man who can do a great job, and then you'll come up with as many abilities as you can."

"I landed here, we ran and I was comfortable. I was happy. As Buddy (Hield) said, I was back and I was lucky to be here."

The Warriors scored 25-26 before Butler's debut on February 8. Golden State scored a third best record for the rest of the regular season with a 23-8 record. The Warriors ranked first in defensive efficiency, third in every game allowed in this range and first in assists.

Butler averaged 17.9 points, 5.3 rebounds and 4.3 assists, but he flipped the Warriors season completely with his presence and playing. In their game, Butler scored the biggest defensive rebound and defeated Memphis with 38 points, 7 rebounds and 6 assists.

He stood out after being knocked down in Game 2 and suffered a deep bruise on his tailbone, which was his injury, which was his injury, which was his injury, which was warriors coach Steve Kerr said to "compromise" Butler's physical ability to Minnesota. Butler scored only nine shots in Game 4, while scoring 11 points, losing to Minnesota 121-110 in Game 5 and 17 points in 121-110 loss.

Green talks about what the Warriors need in the offseason. ” “We made this change. I think the hardest part is done.

"It's hard to go through trades, through free agency. It's just not happening often. This part is done. It's getting us into this offseason much better than where we're looking for that."

Butler, Curry and Green are looking forward to workouts during the offseason, training camp and the entire season.

"Whether it's the right deal, or the incorrect deal," Curry said. "...but it was a seamless fit from the first game in Chicago to last night. He and I complemented each other. He gave us so much faith that we could beat any given night and run a reasonable run on the climbing standings, and even had some playoff experience.

"I think it's a success and now you have to work hard for a full season before us. I'm excited about it."
