President Donald Trump has convened Donald Trump’s newly formed Title IX investigation team in Washington state.
Department of Education (DOE) Secretary Linda McMahon announced Wednesday that the group will investigate the office of Chris Reykdal, Washington's president of Public Education.
The team is a joint initiative of the U.S. Department of Energy and the U.S. Department of Justice (DOJ), and he is taking action in response to Rekdal's request that the school allow male trans athletes in the women's sports team.
"Multiple Washington State School Districts reported that OSPI required school boards to adopt policies that enable men to participate in women's sports and occupy women's intimacy facilities, thus proposing a large number of titles for IX," the announcement said.

McMahon warned Rekdal and Democrat-controlled countries.
"Washington State appears to use its position of power to coerce its district to hide 'gender identity' information from student parents and adopt policies to secretly smuggle gender ideologies, confuse students and get boys into girls' sports, bathrooms and locker rooms," McMahon said.
“If it is true, these clearly violate parental rights and female equality in track and field, which are protected by federal laws that the Trump administration will enforce.”
Reykdal provided a statement to Fox News Digital without suggesting his office will work with the federal investigation.
“My job as the leader of this Constitutional Office is to communicate, maintain and enforce the law,” Rekdal said. “My office will enforce our current law until Congress changes laws and/or federal courts invalidate Washington State laws. Unless, unless, we will comply with Washington State laws, rather than the president’s political inclination expressed through illegal orders.”
