Court blocks Trump's tariffs; CPAC in Hungary: NPR

Federal courts blocked many tariffs for President Trump this semester yesterday. The U.S. Court of International Trade said he imposed dominance when the president imposed tariffs on April 2. If the ruling stands, it will also reduce all relevant taxes imposed on the day and separate taxes imposed on goods from Canada, Mexico and China.

Over the past few days, Trump has increasingly expressed his frustration with Russian President Vladimir Putin The progress of ending the Ukrainian war is slow. Yesterday, Trump said he was "disappointed" as negotiations were still ongoing and Russia continued to attack. Last night, Russia announced plans to hold another round of peace talks in Istanbul, Turkey next Monday.

American and European conservatives, populists and nationalists gather in Hungary today At a conservative political action conference. This is the fourth consecutive year the event has been held in Hungary. In recent years, U.S. conservatives have regarded the country and its Prime Minister Viktor Orban as an inspiring example to be elected and implement the political agenda. Over the past 15 years, Auban has led the country. Many Hungarians and analysts say he achieves this lifespan by taking over and undermining democratic institutions.

In the second half of last year, photographer Kavya Krishna traveled across the United States for three months to document the Indian community and highlighted their shared experiences and regional differences. Throughout her project, she is titled “A Small Town in America,” where she is with friends, family acquaintances and people she meets along the way, and every connection takes her to the next. “What appears is a story that stems from the landscape, trust and a strong sense of connection,” Krishna said.
