Consortium media financing initiated in Cannes

The consortium of film and television investment vehicles founded by actors Roger Moore's sons, Marcus Warren and Christian Moore, has launched at the Cannes Film Festival and revealed its first track.

The consortium’s media finance and pictures from sister consortiums are also “strategically combining strong financing capabilities with creativity and business sensitivities to support filmmakers and studios to bring engaging stories to the screen.”

The company's initial production slate included "Paintbox," directed by documentary administrator Lorna Tucker, known for "Westwood: Punk", "Icon" and "Activist." It was written by music producer Arthur Baker and produced by "Trainland" novelist Irvine Welsh.

"Paintbox" is described as a vivid and satirical comedy in the context of the London art world.

"After releasing my book Naked and documentary Garbo: Where did you go?" Tucker said, "I'm glad to have the opportunity to cheer things up and turn the gangster comedy genre to bring strong female characters into a voice that didn't have that way before, mixed with Bonkers and Bold Bold Storytelold, I'm really looking forward to a comedy that can make the commercialization of artists and the treatment of the modern art world to create. ”

The second project is "Only Sin", a high-octane action thriller ("Jericho Ridge, "The Messenger") directed by Will Gilbey, which provides "fresh, ruthless pursuit of justice."

The consortium is also developing “Rogue Male,” a “next generation” spy franchise inspired by Roger Field’s novel, where Moore and Warren are being produced. It is positioned as a “bold development of a spy thriller that directs the legacy of Moore’s family legacy to a completely original property targeted at global audiences.”

The company said the consortium image is also working with voltage images for several projects and is in discussions with major studio partners and platforms.

"The consortium represents a commitment to storytelling that resonates with intelligence, business and culture," Warren said. "We are honored to launch with a slate that reflects the depth, energy and global ambition that defines our vision."

Moore added: "We believe in empowering filmmakers and building a lasting franchise. With the support of our partners and collaborators, the consortium is expected to be a major force in the next generation of film production and financing."

The consortium's media finance headquarters is in London, while the consortium's pictures are located in Los Angeles and Monaco.
