CNN conservative commentator Scott Jennings humorously shoved his head in the trash on Thursday to show his and others’ views on President Donald Trump’s new hatred with Tesla CEO Elon Musk.
Although Musk has been a staunch ally of Trump since the 2024 presidential election, the former Department of Administration Efficiency (DOGE) chief stood out from the president in one of his large beauty bills, which Musk called on Tuesday "annoying abomination."
This led to the escalating barbs of two deals on social media, with Musk even claiming Trump’s name in the Jeffrey Epstein archives.

Jennings tried to capture the Republicans’ hatred watching while participating in the “Leadership with Jake Tapper” panel.
"Let me tell you what every Republican is doing," Jennings said. "This is where we are today. The head can now trash. That's the state of everyone I know right now."
He said: "He won't lie. It's an ugly day and you hate it when your friends fight. I continue to believe that their partnership last year saved America, and I continue to believe that their goals are not mutually exclusive."
Jennings added that Republicans need to work together while achieving Trump and Musk’s goals, warning Democrats to “smile and move forward” when fighting.

"Hopefully, the cooler people will get the upper hand soon, the president can get his agenda, and Elon can convince Republicans that debt is a serious problem," Jennings said.
Trump's "big tolerance bill" is currently moving forward in the Senate and will fund Trump's agenda, including strengthening border policies and ending taxes on overtime and tips.
