Comey, former director of the FBI

Former FBI Director James Comey told MSNBC on Monday that he had no intention of his controversial "86 47" Instagram position and he was not intimidated by President Donald Trump's administration.

Comey posted a photo of the shell on Thursday, which was configured as "86 47". The number "86" usually refers to getting rid of something or someone, while "47" means Trump is the 47th president. Some people think it is a threat, but Comey insists it is a smart political statement against Trump without any violent intentions.

Nicolle Wallace of MSNBC asked Comey: "Do you have any intuition checks between posting the picture and getting a call from the Secret Service, 'Well, they reviewed me in an extraordinary way. He fired me for years and has been investigating it." … Do you have any regrets about posting the picture? ”

Comey replied, “I regret distractions and controversy.” “But again, it’s hard to regret something, even in hindsight, I look completely innocent.”

"I didn't have a gut check. In the Trump era, I had a lot of investigations, had a lot of reviews, so this wasn't my first rodeo. I was in some weird way a relationship that he couldn't overcome."

"I really thought I was done (with Trump). I was another life. I was a grandfather and a writer, wearing a sweater and jeans. Then I walked on the beach and posted a silly shell photo, which I thought was a clever way to express my political views. Actually, I still think it was." "I can't see what some people are still saying, but I don't want any part of any violence anymore. I've never been associated with violence, so that's why I fell down."

Comey also had a thriller novel this week, saying his wife noticed shells when she left the beach, and she knew the phrase "86" was a restaurant server, which meant taking something out of the menu. He claimed to be a kid and he thought it was about leaving or abandoning a place.

“I don’t actually think this is my political speech, but I think, ‘a clever way to express political views’,” Comey said as she marveled at the details. "The color of the shell is the color of every letter...it took a lot of work. People with artistic talents did it, and it's hard for me to believe that it's anyone with a dark intention, and for me or my spouse, it certainly isn't the dark intention."

After deleting the Instagram post, Comey said in another post that he "had not realized that some people associate these numbers with violence. I've never happened, but I'm against any kind of violence, so I fell the post." (Mark Reinstein/Corbis via Getty Image)

Asked what would happen if Trump put the administration against him against him, Comey said: "The first thing I have to do is stand up and defend myself because I'm not afraid. I believe in the rule of law in this country. It's under attack, but it exists."

Harrison Fields, the president and principal's special assistant to press secretary, responded in a statement to Fox News's number: "Shame former FBI Director James Comey has suffered the inevitable Trump Destruction Syndrome case for his severe incompetence and disadvantage to the role."

Fields added that Comey’s recent incomprehensible and dangerous remarks about President Trump have doubled, highlighting his dangers and commitment to secession and politics, rather than his loyalty to the country. The appropriate federal agency is investigating his inevitable actions and will act quickly. ”
