College football star Ashton Jeanty will likely become the first running back selected in the upcoming spring NFL draft.

Where Zhendi lands will be a big question. Some mock drafts have the running back heading to the Dallas Cowboys, which he said earlier this month while playing high school football in Frisco, Texas, would be a dream come true for him.

The Cowboys were thrust into the spotlight last week after parting ways with head coach Mike McCarthy, with rumors swirling that Deion Sanders could leave Colorado to lead Dallas.

Jeanty spoke to Fox News Digital about the possibility of playing for Sanders in Dallas.

“I think it’s going to be a really great opportunity,” Genty said. "Coach Prime is great at giving players opportunities and taking advantage of their abilities. Kind of like Travis Hunter playing both ways. Most coaches don't do that. I think he's going to be great at the position ”

Jeanty, who spoke to Fox News Digital on behalf of the SAXX partnership, also praised Sanders as a "man of faith."

"Obviously, I'm a man of faith. He was a man of faith. It was great to have my former head coach be a man of faith. You could see him off the field with his players. "We have a great relationship on the court. "

He told NBC Dallas-Fort Worth that he has first-hand knowledge of some of the Cowboys' facilities.

"I would love to play for the Cowboys," he told the station. "It's like a dream come true. Obviously, I used to play at their practice facility, all our home games in high school, even my freshman year when we came out here and played in the Frisco Bowl. We were all training there again.

"So, honestly, I feel like I'm at home. I won't say too much, but Dallas, they've always had a good running back, and when they have a good running back, they play a lot better ”

Dallas might be the only team that could land a running back early in the first round if Gendy isn't selected when the No. 12 pick comes around.

Jeanty was the Heisman Trophy runner-up to Hunter in the final season of her college career. He rushed for 2,601 yards and 29 touchdowns for the Broncos.
