The just-concluded baseball week. Texas was swept by Arkansas, which you think is enough to knock out a few nails from the long horned legs, but they are still number one due to a lot of other dissatisfaction. Florida State finished second in two games against Clemson, including 20 games to win the series, so the Tigers threw six sports to No. 9.
Tennessee continued to slide as it threw three other locations to No. 15. Vanderbilt's outing against Alabama was impressive, with the Commodores jumping four places to rank 11th. Another big booster this week is the coastal area of Carolina, which jumped five positions.
The Kansas Jayhawks exited the rankings, giving the USC Trojans its first ranking this season.

Let's check out college baseball's current leading home hitter. Neville has 23 home runs this season with 50 RBIs. He was one of the biggest reasons for the first time this week in the top five, as Oregon ranked highest. The Ducks have a busy week in five games and we're sure Neville will continue to increase his stats.

We always look forward to watching the balance between the two teams, especially as we get closer to the end of the regular season. Tennessee has encountered some bumps on the road in the past few weeks. After becoming the country’s No. 1 team, Walls began gliding after losing to Texas A&M. Tennessee has since thrown the series to Kentucky, Louisiana State and Auburn, and on the other hand, the only series beat Vanderbilt (Ole Miss). With the series’ performance in Knoxville, the Tony Vitello lineup seems to be the Tony Vitello squad, but we just need to see how that’s performed.
