CNN host Abby Phillip on Friday suggested former special lawyer Robert Hur had “reduced” the decline of former President Biden after an interview with the former president in February 2023. CNN host believes that Hur threw the "lifeline" of the former president and the Democratic Party.
"In a sense, Robert Hur is a little less strong," Philip said. "He is a little bit like Joe Biden to be the lifeline. In fact, it's an opportunity to let Democrats take it seriously, maybe changing the gears at that time, maybe giving potential nominees more time."
The audio obtained by Axios contains clips from several interviews between the former president and HUR, which is related to his investigation into the confidential document.
Biden's transcript of the interview with HUR was released last year and confirmed the president's frequent memory mistakes. Hur's written report describes Biden as "a compassionate, kind-hearted elderly man with poor memory."
HUR records confirm Biden's memory error, which contradicts the president's claim to communicate about his son's death

Joe Borelli, a former Republican leader in the New York City Council, argued that no one was surprised by Hur-Biden Audio.
"I'm going to calculate the number that is zero. The number is zero, and the person who hears hur tape and is surprised. That's why there are so many distrusts in the media. Because you're right, maybe in 2020, it's not obvious, but 2022, 2023, right, now, everyone sees this person, first, who can ask any questions, and no questions, and then there's one, there's no one, at that time, who was an ersef, and it's his appearance. The stairs don't fall.
“We all saw this, and most of us were able to determine the fact that allies in the White House and the media were lying on night after night and then suddenly the script flipped.
Pete Seat, former spokesman for President George W. Bush, highlighted part of the audio when he admitted that he kept documents of “descendants” related to Afghanistan. Biden first said he doesn't remember when Hur asked about the document, he told him it was found in his Lake House library.
Biden replied: "I don't know I know, he has this document, but it's not something I want to stop thinking about."
Axios reporter postponed Biden's denial of mental decline, saying White House insiders disagree
Biden then said: "I think I want to stick with it for future generations. I mean, this is my position in Afghanistan. From a historical perspective, I have always believed that there are certain perspectives in history, world history, and basic things have changed using technology."
So he admits that what the White House told us was just unintentional, all of these documents were in his garage in Delaware, unintentional. This is the president's acknowledgement that he intentionally retained the documents. But his lawyer interjected, Bob Bauer. Therefore, in private, they tend to his forgetfulness.
Independent journalist and columnist Ahmed Baba delayed the notion that it was a veiled by the media and believed that the media “covered it from the outside as much as possible.”

"I don't think it must be a media failure because I think they covered it up violently. I just thought, because in hindsight, it's our background and the real key is that he shouldn't run for reelection."
"I think, at the end of the day, the responsibility is with Joe Biden and, frankly, maybe Jill Biden," added CNN political commentator Maria Cardona.

"Yes, that's it. But it's also part of the Democratic Party, which makes people say anything to Joe Biden," Philip added. "Including attacking the media and even raising his age question, it's obviously a problem. I mean, there's a responsibility there, too."
