CNN senior data reporter Harry Enten breaks down the data to show how President Donald Trump is making a historic comeback in his favor ratings since entering the White House this week.
"The American people really like what they're seeing, at least compared to where Donald Trump started eight years ago," Enton told anchor Kate Boldo on "CNN Newsroom" on Friday install.
Enten shared a Reuters/IPSOS poll conducted this week that found Americans now approve of Trump's presidency the same way they did when he took office in 2017.
Thrun said Trump started his first term with a net negative approval rating of -3 points, but Trump now has a net approval rating of +6 points, up from January 2017. It rose by 9 points since the beginning of the month.

"To paraphrase Donald Trump, this is the big leagues," he said.
Enten said Trump is not just doing better with Americans than he was in January 2017. His approval rating is now higher than it was during his first semester.
Previously, Trump's highest-ever net approval rate was +3 points, according to Enten.
"He's in a better position than at any time throughout the first semester," the reporter said. "Things have moved very quickly."

He continued: "This is a very different Donald Trump. He has led a very different administration in the way he attacks things, unlike the way he has been throughout the No time in the semester was more in line with his attitude.”
Enten said he could not find any other president who had a higher net approval rating in the first month of the second semester than he did throughout his entire term.
