CloudZero, a provider of cloud cost-efficiency solutions, raised $56 million in a Series C financing after a year of gaining triple-digit growth.
The round is led by Bluecrest Capital Management and Innovius Capital, with strategic investments from Matrix Partners, Threshold Ventures, Underscore VC, G20 Ventures, and MongoDB.
The company plans to use capital to support its efforts to advance AI-driven R&D (R&D), expand its entry strategy and strengthen its partner ecosystem.
"Organizations that optimize their cloud costs have a competitive advantage, while those that ignore cost management risks limit their growth and innovation," said Michael Platt, founder and CEO of Bluecrest Capital Management.
The company's cloud cost optimization platform connects engineering decisions to business outcomes, helping teams manage and optimize cloud and AI infrastructure costs.
Cloudzero’s trust in organizations such as Coinbase, DraftKings, Expedia, Moody's and Nubank, plans to leverage funds to enhance AI-driven cost analysis and forecasting and deepen the integration of developers and financial workflows.
Additionally, the company will use the funding to expand its strategic partners and cloud alliance network.
"AI is redefining what is possible - but innovation can become unsustainable without a deep understanding of cloud unit economics.
“CloudZero pioneers new standards for cloud cost optimization, giving companies the precision they need to responsibly scale cloud and AI.”
CloudZero’s platform automates the collection, allocation and analysis of cloud costs, providing adequate visibility into operating cloud spending and identifying saving opportunities for engineering teams.
In November 2024, CloudZero was recognized as a proven MongoDB technology partner, becoming the first cloud cost management platform in the MongoDB partner ecosystem.
The partnership includes a new integration with MongoDB Atlas, designed to help customers better visualize and understand their MongoDB fees.
MongoDB Atlas is a multi-cloud developer data platform used by millions of developers and over 50,000 customers.
“CloudZero raises $56 million to improve cloud cost-efficiency solutions” was originally created and released by GlobalData-owned brand DeRdict.
