Chuck Todd

Former NBC news host Chuck Todd suggested Wednesday that former transport secretary Pete Buttigieg could become a “toxic” democratic presidential candidate in 2028 because of his connection to former President Biden, many revelations about Biden’s decline during his tenure.

"So, in many ways, I think this Biden book will not only destroy Biden, but I think it's toxic to anyone who works for Biden because then it became, where are you? How did you participate in the cover-up?" Todd said in the podcast.

"Pete Buttigieg, what this might mean for you," Todd added. "You're going to tell us now, 'Yes, I didn't have much interaction with him." Well, why don't you say anything? ”

Buttigieg's title this week at a town hall in Iowa has sparked speculation about his 2028 plan. But the former Biden cabinet official claims he hasn't run for anything so far.

Todd revealed that a former Biden cabinet secretary told him that they had no interaction with Biden and wanted to know why.

"This is someone who works directly for Biden, so (Biden Commerce Secretary) Gina Raimondo, if he is considering running for President Pete Buttigieg, all of these cabinet secretaries have to answer for all of these secretaries now, the former "with all of this." "And I do wonder if this will make anyone touch the Biden character non Grata."

Todd bluntly asserted that anyone working at Biden, except Biden himself, is “directly responsible” for anything Trump has done during his second term.

"They are contributors to where we are, so they better hope this is a successful second term for Trump because they will also have a portion of the failure, and the recovery from the U.S. recovery from the economy - possibly an economic disaster," he said.

Buttigieg did not immediately respond to Fox News Digital's request for comment.

Todd concluded: “If you are not satisfied with any part of your second term and are angry, some of that anger belongs to Bidens, some of it belongs to those who don’t have the guts and say it when it matters until you talk to the author of the book.”

Todd has been criticizing the Democratic Party for more revelations about Biden’s decline, which has been reported through the 2024 campaign.

"He's the one responsible for that," Todd said of Schumer. "He's the leader of the Democratic Party, the staff at the White House." "And I have to say, I've found that everyone is talking to these authors now - evacuating here. Going home. You're part of the problem. Now you tell us."
