Christian Eckes found his place in the Craftsman Truck Series last year.
He finished third after winning three games and winning 22 top 10 games, but he made a big move.
This year, the 24-year-old is in his first Xfinity series season and although he hasn't found similar success, he knows it's a necessary change.

“I feel like I’ve reached a location in the Truck Series and I’m not happy with success, but it’s definitely a point where I feel very comfortable moving to the next level and I feel like it’s a great opportunity to play some different series with the Cup,” Eckes, Eckes, who are now competing with Kaulig Racing, told Fox News Digital Digital.
To move to Xfinity, Eckes worked with Celsius, who said the energy drink gave him a huge boost on the day of the game.
"It's been a blast so far. I've been able to meet a lot of cool people and obviously have some good drinks along the way. I'm looking forward to the future, too."
"It helped me a lot. Some of these games are in the evenings, even in the mornings, really. So, getting caffeine certainly helps as well as hydrating packaging. A lot of things they do help us succeed. Yes, it's definitely a big part of our game weekend."

Ax admitted that this season hasn't gone as much as he wanted. He only has six top 10 this year.
“We are still trying to find our way,” Ax said. “We have had some success here and there, with some speed, but not consistent. So, the first thing we have now is trying to push this forward and get to where we should feel we should be, which is a weekly fight.”
This weekend, Eckes will race in Nashville, where he reached the pinnacle of success. He won last year, where Kaulig had previously won the checkered flag.
"Nashville should be a great place for us. Last year, I won the race in the Truck Series, so hopefully this is the weekend when we finally turn around."
Eckes admits he wasn't a Nashville fan in the past, but "every lap last year, I love it now."

"I've done this before on a truck, so hopefully I can repeat this success. It's going to cost a lot. The Xfinity series is challenging. You have to be perfect in every way, or as close to your perfection as possible.
