Northern Border Patrol agents are facing a group of attempted crossings after President Donald Trump cracked the illegal immigration crossing point on the southern U.S. border with Mexico.
The Customs and Border Protection Agency (CBP) in Holden, Maine said on May 2 that it has carried out targeted enforcement operations over the past 10 days that have purified 39 illegal immigrants’ capture.
Foreign nationals from Guatemala, El Salvador, Mexico, Venezuela, Ecuador, Nicaragua, Jamaica, the Dominican Republic and China have been arrested in recent operations.
According to immigration officials, the agency has captured more illegal immigrants in Maine this year.

Officials said some arrested persons had previous criminal records, including crimes of assault and assault of family members, crimes of possession of weapons and theft.
According to the Justice Department, one of the illegal immigrants is charged with illegal re-entering the U.S., a felony that would be sentenced to two years in prison, which could be raised if the suspect was previously removed from office after a criminal conviction.
The CBP warned that the consequences of other illegal immigrants who crossed the north might be considered.
