Charlize Theron is in a state of repair after being injured on the scene.

The Academy Award-winning actress revealed that she suffered painful injuries after doing some of her own dangerous stunt work while filming her latest action project, “Apex” – without protective equipment.

"Our crew released a very impressive movie, and you did do some stunts and moves," Theron said in Netflix's expected speech earlier this week. "Don't tell Netflix."

"It's actually a miracle that I'm here today," she said.

"Mad Max: Road to Angry" actress goes on to detail the risks involved in her physically demanding role.

"The apex is just wrapped like a week ago, so I just set out from the hill. I still have some Australian dirt, my lovely boots cover up a broken toe...I can keep going, but I won't."

Despite physical harm, Theron, 49, is in good spirits while recovering.

She added: "To be honest, shooting 'Apex' was one of the most incredible experiences of my life."

Theron went on to say that she never thought she could perform strong stunts in previous projects.

When describing the “Cape”, Theron said the focus of the film is “a woman who tries to rediscover herself, just being hunted by a cruel and ruthless human predator.”

Theron's representative did not immediately respond to a request for comment from Fox News Digital.

Theron isn't the only Hollywood star to be injured recently.

Jennifer Lopez suffered a facial injury in the rehearsal earlier this week, hosting the American Music Awards in Las Vegas, Nevada a few weeks ago.

The “Let’s Loud” singer participated in social media on Tuesday and shared a picture of one of her eyes.

"So this happened..." Lopez, 55, posted on her Instagram story.
