We can't wait to watch five games in the 2025 season
The NFL schedule for the 2025-2026 season has been released. Here are some of the games on our must-see list.
Building an NFL timeline is a complex process that is not always fair to some teams.
Like last year's Kansas City Chiefs, some teams had to handle three games in 11 days. More generally, how big a certain team must travel compared to other teams.
For example, when teams in the AFC West and NFC West play against East Coast opponents and vice versa, miles can quickly accumulate from all off-road flights. Coupled with the NFL’s efforts to promote football internationally, some teams fly not only nationwide but around the world.
Therefore, some teams are traveling much more in 2025.
This year, the team with the most airline miles (Los Angeles Chargers) traveled more than 25,000 miles between the team with the fewest airlines (Cincinnati Bengals). In other words, the charger will be more than four times the end of the 2025 regular season.
Here is how each team’s travel mileage swings in 2025:
According to Bookies.com: Here are how many miles of air miles each team will accumulate during the 2025 regular season:
The Chargers and Rams have a great lead, which is not surprising given the international games on each team’s calendar. "Bolt" clashed with the Chiefs in Sao Paulo, Brazil, and the Rams will travel to London in October to play the Jaguars.
As a team from the West Coast, just like the charger - playing against the NFC East in the South, just like the Rams - added some miles.
Meanwhile, the Bangladeans are the only team this year that will be less than 10,000 miles. The farthest west they had to travel was Denver, a "Monday Night Football" meeting against the Broncos in Week 4. The remaining away games are the Midwest (versus the NFC North) and the East Coast (versus the AFC East).
