Champion: Who needs what on the last day?

Nine months of hard work, 540 football games, and now it all comes down to a few hours on Saturday.

The champions are reissued with incredible drama and entertainment seasons, with the pendulum swinging in one way before coming back. Say it again. Say it again.

Entering the final day of fixtures (all 12:30 BST tee), champions, two playoff venues and actually a relegation location has not been determined, and there are 12 teams that still have a lot to do.

That's half the partition, jeopardizing something, so we looked at the permutations and there were a lot of them. Let's start at the bottom and work upwards.

Relegation battle

Five teams are working to avoid what the actual remaining relegation points are actually

Who is involved? Stock City, Derby County, Preston North District, Luton Town, Hull City and Argyll in Plymouth

Have been downgraded: Cardiff City

Plymouth (23rd, 46 points, GD -36)

Who are they playing? Leeds United (H)

What do they need? The pilgrim has actually fallen, unless the football miracle is.

Miron Muslic's team needs to beat Leeds championship convincingly and hope Luton is defeated hard at West Bromwich Albion to overturn the 14-target swing. They also need Hull to lose at Portsmouth.

Hull City (22nd, 48 points, GD -10)

Who are they playing? Portsmouth (A)

What do they need? In Portsmouth they fell, but Hull's fate was in their hands. The easiest way they stay up late is to win - they can guarantee a match above the Derby or Stoke that plays each other - or at least a result of Luton or Preston.

If the tiger draws, the hatch or lily is gone, Hull will survive the goal difference with better goal difference.

If Luton and Preston avoid defeat, the team Rubin sold could play above the derby if they draw the goal and the Rams lost to Stoke with three goals.

There is another unlikely situation where Hull can outperform the derby in scoring goals if the Tigers lost 6-6 with the Rams. In an equally unlikely event, Hull tied 5-5 while the Derby lost two, and the Rams will continue with a better head-to-head record.

Hull only wins in Stock and the potter can do it.

Luton (21st, 49 points, GD -22)

Luton tried to avoid back-to-back relegation after falling from the Premier League last season

Who are they playing? West Bromwich Albion (A)

What do they need? If Luton wins the game at West Bromwich Albion or Hull loses it, they will stay up late.

If both Luton and Hull lose and Plymouth win, then Hatters only need to avoid an unlikely 14-ball swing to survive.

Things would be more complicated if Matt Bloomfield's side didn't score three points in Hawthorns.

If Hull avoids failure, Luton will need to match their results to stay up late. Luton If Hull's result is a result of Preston or Derby, he will also stay up late.

So, what if Hull, Preston and Derby both win? Then, Luton actually needs to win his own victory to finish the game on Stoke and avoid falling.

There is an unlikely result that they can also draw on this situation and stay up late in this case, if in both cases:

  • Stoke lost six goals, a worse goal difference from Luton.

  • Stoke lost 5-0, and the Hatters equalized Albion 3-3 to score a goal difference and a goal score, but with a better head-to-head record.

  • Stoke lost 5-0, and Luton scored at least four points (4-4, 5-5 and the like) to keep the goal scored.

Preston (20, 49 points, GD -11)

Image title,

Preston lost four games in the bounce and won only one of the last 14 games (D6 L7) to drag into the relegation battle

Who are they playing? City of Bristol (A)

What do they need? Similar to Luton, Preston won the game in Bristol City or Hull, and they will stay up late.

If that is not the case, the lily needs to match one of Luton or Hull’s results to beat the drip, or better yet the result of one of the Derby or Stoke.

If both Preston and Luton lose and Hull win, as long as Paul Heckingbottom's team will survive the goal difference as long as they avoid a situation where they are unlikely to lose with 13 goals and the Hatters lose one goal or 14 goals with 14 goals while the hat stand loses two goals.

If Hull and Luton both avoided defeat and Preston, then the Lily would need the Derby to lose four goals in order to keep the target difference (e.g., Derby 0-5 Stoke, Bristol City 1-0 Preston).

If Preston loses, Hull and Luton both avoid failure, then this is another far-fetched safe way, if the Derby loses four goals and Preston loses one, the Lilywhites will need to make sure they score higher than Derby to keep the goal scored (e.g., Derby 0-4 Stoke, Bristol City, Bristol City 4-3 preston).

Derby (19th, 49 points, GD -8)

Who are they playing? Stoke City (h)

What do they need? If the Derby relegates to the loss of rivals Stoke or Hull, they will secure their title status.

The Rams have a slight advantage in the best target differences on all sides in the downgrade combination.

If Hull Win and John Eustace's teams don't have one, they will need to match one of Preston or Luton's scores to stay up late.

As mentioned in the Hull arrangement, if Preston and Hull score, Luton win and Rams lose three goals, the Derby will be an unlikely situation.

If Preston and Hull attract and Luton win, we might rule out these two potential outcomes, but not to mention them:

Stock (18th, 50 points, GD -17)

Who are they playing? Derby County (A)

What do they need? If Stoke City avoids losing in the derby, they will stay up late.

If the potters lose less than five goals, they will only fall if Luton and Hull win and Preston win at least tie.

If Hull wins and Preston avoids a draw with Luton, it is unlikely to downgrade Stoke, as well as one of the following:

  • Stoke lost six goals, a worse goal difference from Luton.

  • Stoke lost 5-0, and Luton led 3-3 with Albion to score goals and goals, but the potters had a poor head-to-head record.

  • Stoke lost 5-0 in West Brom's draw (4-4, 5-5 and the like) draw, while Luton scored at least four points and the potters fell on the goal.

Playoff chase

Bristol City and Coventry both entered their final day in two straight games

Who is involved? Bristol City, Coventry City, Millwall, Blackburn Wanderers and Middlesbrough

Playoff locations have been secured: Sheffield United (third confirmation), Sunderland (4th confirmation)

Middlesbrough (9th, 64 points, GD +10)

Who are they playing? Coventry City (A)

What do they need? Middlesbrough must win at Coventry to have any chance to make the playoffs.

If Millwall and Blackburn fail to win, the victory will put Boro into the top six.

Michael Carrick's team can also win in the absence of Bristol City, while Millwall or Blackburn won.

Blackburn (8th, 65th, GD +5)

Who are they playing? Sheffield United (A)

What do they need? Blackburn must win at Sheffield United for a chance to make the playoffs.

The victory will put the Wanderers in the top six, but only if the two of Bristol City, Coventry and Millwall failed to win.

Millwall (7th, 66th, GD 0)

Image title,

Millwall boss Alex Neil

Who are they playing? Burnley (A)

What do they need? Millwall actually needs to win at Burnley to have any chance to make the playoffs.

If the city of Bristol or Coventry fails to win, the Lions' victory will suffice.

In the unlikely match, Bristol City lost five goals while Blackburn failed to win - or 4-0 in Bristol City, Millwall won 12-12 with a score of 12-12, while Blackburn failed to win sixth place.

Coventry (6th, 66th, GD +4)

Who are they playing? Middlesbrough (H)

What do they need? If Coventry City beat Middlesbrough, they will end in the play-offs.

The draw is enough to accommodate the sky blue, but only if any of the following happens:

If Coventry loses, they will not be able to make the top six.

Bristol City (5th, 67 points, GD +4)

Who are they playing? Preston (h)

What do they need? If the city of Bristol beat Preston at home, they will get the playoffs.

For the robins, a draw may be enough, but they will rely on results elsewhere. Manchester City will be in the top six by a draw if any of the following occurs:

  • Coventry, Millwall, Blackburn and Middlesbrough failed to win.

  • Coventry or Middlesbrough won, and Millwall and Blackburn failed to win.

  • Millwall Win and Coventry, Blackburn and Middlesbrough failed to win.

  • Blackburn Win and Coventry, Millwall and Middlesbrough failed to win.

  • Millwall and Middlesbrough Win and Blackburn failed to win.

  • Blackburn and Middlesbrough Win and Millwall failed to win.

If Liam Manning's team loses, they will only end in the playoffs if:

  • Coventry, Millwall, Blackburn and Middlesbrough failed to win.

  • Neither Coventry nor Middlesbrough Win, Millwall and Blackburn failed to win.

Title Competition

Leeds and Burnley are on track to reach 100 points

Who is involved? Leeds United and Burnley

Burnley (second, 97 points, GD +51)

Who are they playing? Millwall (h)

What do they need? Burnley actually needs to win Leeds United better to win the championship.

Leeds (first, 97 points, GD +64)

Who are they playing? Plymouth (A)

What do they need? If the Leeds champion matches Burnley's score, they will be champions unless both sides win and Clars' 13-goal rate against goal difference.

These are the title arrangements for the last day:

  • If both Leeds and Burnley win, the whites will win the championship unless Burnley wins 14 goals.

  • If Leeds wins and Burnley fails to win, the whites will win the championship.

  • If both Leeds and Burnley were drawn, the whites would win the championship.

  • If Leeds draws and Burnley win, Claires will win the championship.

  • If Leeds lose, Burnley draws the lottery and Claires will win the championship.
