Celtic Brick Playoffs 45 3s as Knicks rally

Boston - Jalen Brunson and Og Anunoby scored 29 points, Mikal Bridges stole Jaylen Brown's ball from Jaylen Brown, and the second second left in overtime, the New York Knicks shocked the Boston Celtics 108-105 in the Eastern Conference semifinals of the Eastern Conference semifinal series Monday night.

Karl-Anthony Towns added 14 points and 13 rebounds to New York, losing four games in all four games in the regular season long-term opponents and trailing 20 points in the second half of the season.

Both Jayson Tatum and Brown scored 23 points for defending champions Celtics, who missed a three-pointer with 45-point 45 in the NBA playoffs, beating a game they seemed to be controlling. Derrick White added 19 points and 11 rebounds.

Jrue Holiday resumed his starting lineup after a tight right hamstring made him miss the final three games of Boston’s first-round series against Orlando. He scored 16 points in 39 minutes, but center Kristaps Porzingis played in only 13 minutes and did not return after halftime due to illness.

The Knicks hit the first time in overtime, hitting a 106-100 edge through Anunoby's 3-pointer, followed by Bridges' 3-pointer.

Brown connected a three-pointer from his wings and had more than a minute left (his only shot into the arc and completed 10 attempts) to cut it to 108-105.

This kept that way when Josh Hart made a mistake on 3 of Deep 3. Tatum missed the jump shot, but the Celtics were able to get the rebounds back. After a foul in town, Boston called the timeout, a three-second time display.

But Bridges ripped apart the inbound from Brown to preserve the victory.

The Celtics scored 15-60 with three-pointers, an NBA playoff record for three-pointers. In these 3s, 45 are uncontroversial, Boston missed 32 games, the most games in the NBA playoffs since ESPN began tracking all playoffs in the 2013-14 season.

The wild end of the regulations.

New York cut its 16-point midfield time deficit to 84-75 in the final stage, thanks to the third time ending with a 20-9 record.

The Knicks continued to move forward, scoring the first eight points in the fourth quarter. They ended up tied with Anunobi for a steal and dunk.

Later, the Celtics pushed the ball forward and pushed the ball towards White, 2:15 with a three-pointer to Boston, left-handed 2:15, New York led 97-95, New York led 97-95, and New York led three leads.

Anunoby's 3 put New York in second place, but at the other end, the holiday layup tied it up again on the other end. Anunoby missed the 17-foot decline, White grabbed the rebound, and Boston was able to call timeout at 28 seconds.

The Celtics' clock ran down and took the ball to Tatum, who missed 3 from the top of the key, and New York had 5.5 seconds left to rebound.

Brunson received a paying pass from town but missed a brief layup from Boston's rebound. The Celtics have 0.6 seconds left to timeout. But Tatum missed the buzzer's jump shot.
