Celebrate Hollywood Assistant at the annual gathering on List A

In Hollywood, a party is rarely just a party.

But instead of celebrating a new project or respecting a bold name, Ashlee Margolis and her team hosted a Soirée Friday on the A-list, instead of celebrating a new project, rather than throwing a boon, a bold name. The invitation happens to be a group of Hollywood insiders whose work with Gunt Gu is more common than gratitude: Assistant.

“It’s a kind of assistant that thanks you for helping us all year round,” Margolis explained Hollywood Reporter About the origins of the fourth annual Hollywood Young Mixer, which takes place on her Beverly Hills-based property on Civic Center Drive. "There are so many kids, it's their first chance to leave work early in the summer, so we're celebrating that. The weather is so nice and everyone is having fun, they're working hard, some of them meet each other for the first time after exchanging phone calls and emails a few months later."

A List, Celebrities, Influencers and Entertainment Markets, Events and Special Projects Company invites 450 talented assistants from top town companies including CAA, UTA, WME, Untitled Entertainment, Gersh, Gersh, Gersh, Gersh, Gersh, Entertainment 360, IDPR, 42 West, West, Lede Company, Sunshine Sachs Morgan & Lylis, Morgan & Lylis, range Media Partners, Mosaic and Mosaic and many others. There were hundreds of people drinking, snacks, shaking hands, shmooze and visiting Alist’s showroom.

Other party events include hair and makeup touches, provided by Glamsquad, and a raffle with prizes from event sponsor Loft, Jing, Grove Collaborative and Glamsquad. Sweetfin offers poke bowls, Uber sends out the credit for the ride, and Pours is provided by Aspen Vodka, Flecha Tequila and Abnormal Wine. Attendees brought gift bags including gift bags from Jing, Clarins, Bloom Nutrition, Magic Mind, Form, Form, Dirty Cookie, Glamnetic and Barry's Complocy comply Compless. Other sponsorships are from Repbets, Bloom Nutrition, Magic Mind, Saint James Ice Tea, Dirty Cookie, St. Pizza and Prince Voss.

Speaking of name checking, Marglis also said that one thing is the key to curating a great party for assistants: name tags. "It's crucial, so they can determine who is who, where to work and all of that," she said. "It's great to do this because many of the people here today will likely be in the entertainment industry for many years, so after meeting here today, they will always know each other."
