The restaurant belonging to CBS News host Norah O'Donnell's husband was raided by ICE on Tuesday.
A local DC Fox branch reported that the ICE agent entered "Chef Jeff's Restaurant" that morning and asked to see a staff member's I-9 form to prove they were legally working in the United States, and the visit reportedly sent staff into a "panic."

According to Fox 5, “nearly a dozen law enforcement and immigration officials wearing DHS uniforms entered the restaurant on the Northwest New Mexico Avenue.
Agents stayed in Tracy's restaurant for about 90 minutes, although no one was detained.
In recent days, ice has stopped at several DC restaurants. The media reported that restaurants in DuPont Circle and Columbia Heights were also visited by the Ice Company.
Millie's is a restaurant near Massachusetts Avenue in Washington, D.C. - told Fox 5 that seven agents also entered the restaurant Tuesday and asked to see Form I-9. According to staff, the agent’s warrant was signed by another Icefield agent rather than a judge.

Milly’s boss Bob Blair recalled in a statement to The Washingtonian that all the agents appeared in all public entrances at the same time. ”
Blair slammed the government check, saying: "Our impression is that they are focused on trying to find criminals. It's just a brand new harassment from our hard-working, law-abiding employees."
Washington, D.C. Mayor Muriel Bowser measured the raiders and told the media: "I've heard these reports. I've been getting them all morning. I've been bothered by them. It looks like ice is in a restaurant, even nearby, and it doesn't look to target criminals, and it does seem to be disrupting."
Bowser added that DC enforcement will never participate in the raid.

The attack was because President Donald Trump remains committed to deporting illegal immigrants from the country.
Trump also sued O'Donnell's employer, with CBS allegedly deceptively editing a 2024 interview with former Vice President Kamala Harris to help her presidential campaign.
ICE, CBS and "Chef Geoff"'s CBS did not immediately respond to Fox News Digital's request for comment.
